Digital-to-Analog Converter DAC TWI/I2C – MCP4725
Have you ever wanted to output an analog voltage, rather than trying to manufacture it with a PWM? The MCP4725 is a TWI/I2C controlled Digital-to-Analog converter (DAC). A DAC creates a clean, analog DC voltage from a digital input. It is controlled through the I2C interface on the Arduino microcontroller. Digital to analog converters are great for sound generation, musical instruments, and fine control of a circuit. This board gives you access to each pin you will need to use the MCP4725.
